This is what I had to do on my 70 S since the last owner transplanted an Olds 260 in it. The Dualjet to 4 bbl air cleaner adapter is no longer made, so I improvised. I had a 10" chrome air cleaner lid that says Oldsmobile. It happened to fit the factory filter perfectly. I had to add a double threaded adapter on the air cleaner threaded rod with a bolt through the top, since unlike a QJet, which has a straight rod, the Dualjet is bent and was no too short. The flat top lid and heat being blocked from the bottom along with dual exhaust make this 260 tolerable to drive, thinking 15 to 20 HP and more torque over stock. My 88 has 14" x 3.5" with the air flow top. I need to get the aluminum tray like Vanrah has for when I get the stroker in.
