I want to bring the alternator line into the firewall and attach it to a junction block rated for 150amps then continue it to the feed side of the solenoid to charge the battery. I want to put something like a maxi fuse in line but I'm not sure where? Would you put it in the trunk before the battery?
The wires in the loom going directly to the battery are the feed for the Terminator Xmax

I am curious what propose does having the solenoid in the trunk serve?

How's that for a useless answer. It's from back when headers close to the starter would cause hot start issues with the solenoid
