THANKS! Is yours a 87 or 78? it looks like a 78. Nice looking what ever the year is.
Mine looks better in the pics than it is though. for the motor I got a 415ci w/Afr 227cc heads, th400 trans, it has a grand national rear in it. Wilwood front disc brake setup. I got to do new carpet and set up my autometer gauges inplace of the factory gauges. Then body and paint work. I have a like new set of doors for it. It should be a nice street car when done. Just taking for ever doing it by my self.

It Is A 1987 With A 1980 Front Clip From The Header Panel To The Doors... I Know What You Mean When You Say It Takes Forever... I Bought 4 El Caminos In 2007 When I Was 17, Then Built The One You See In My Signature and Now 3 Years Later Im Rebuilding A SBC 355 and Converting It To A Manual Trans... Its Been About 8 Months And Still Have A Long Way To Go... I Am Also A Full Time Student In College So It IS Really Tough Getting My Elky Back On The Road... Good Luck With Your Project!

My dad decided to paint his Elco. Still in the process of putting all of the trim pieces back on.

Up next: Motor swap

My dad kept losing the center caps off of his Elco while driving, so he switched the wheels on it.
