Definitely been a while since I’ve posted, let’s see if I can catch this post up..

I had to take a break for a bit but have made a little progress. Keep in mind, this is still a junkyard/eBay only build. I grabbed a couple things while browsing the yards. Got these for $12/each.

Decided to go with laminX on the high beams.

Also realized that this crossmember doesn’t work with the 80e that I got. So guess what happens next?

Diced it to pieces and welded it back together in a way that worked for me. I’ll have to figure driveline angle

Helluva junkyard that has those sitting around!

Lol, yeah I luck up and find a few things from time to time..

I found these in the same yard: 17z, big boy 6 piston brembos. I had virtually no shot at getting these to fit behind my 17s so I sold them.

So, I spent maybe 3 weeks lengthening a regular truck harness to put the computer into the passenger kick panel ( stock location) and it eventually just got too crazy for me and I got discouraged even looking at it. So I went to buy another complete harness for $30. I may not even thin this one out and sit the computer under the frame, under the battery.

Made a switch panel from scrap I had laying around

A 3500 diesel express van sacrificed its exhaust so I could have a downpipe. 3.5” piping, got all of this for <$20.

it would have been cheaper ($2.13/foot— they ball parked it at 2 but it’s really like 5 😂) but I wanted the exhaust tip too. It’ll be good as a 4”-3.5” merge from the back of the turbo.

The alternator was hitting the bottom of the hood, so I clearanced it...

I also cut down the positive distribution block that bolts to the side of the alternator bracket. The one that was there was a little big. $14 for positive and negative ones together on eBay.
