Grand prix style. Just use cardboard first to fit them how you want.

Jim,
Is that a mylar adhesive backed product you used on metal or plastic sheeting, or a carbon fiber sheet ? I like the way that looks. 8) I may have to adopt that look.

Jack, it was an adhesive backed product. I liked the look. I just realized I have had the dash for over 5 years, and only used it in a car for 14 months, lol. Anyhow, i will be redoing that dash insert.

My alternator always charged fine, even at idle.

Jim, Where did you purchase the stuff from? I think I'll be doing my dash bezel and insert the same way. It looks really cool.

Jack, I picked it up from eBay if memory serves me right (that is a hit and miss :blam: ). It was many years ago. I will be looking around on eBay again for more so I can do the dash again and the console lid. I think, lol. I will be integrating a 7" touchscreen in the dash, so the CF my not look good.

Thanks Jim.
Yeah, I think Ebay might be the answer. It was between that or engine turned. I think carbon fiber might rule out.

I have a quick question. It might sound a little retarded, but on the GP dash using the factory tach, where does the tach get connected?

I know one end is off the distributor, but I'm not sure about the other end of the tach filter. I removed that out of the car with the dash, but can't remember for the life of me.. 😳
