Looks good.

The gauge panel looks great, Ed.
I like the layout configuration. Glad to hear that the templates arrived. That should be a huge help getting your body mounted.

Have to label the idiot lights still and a few other things but I'm just about done with the gauge cluster for the Wagon. I think I may look into getting the alky control decal remade so its just the text and numbers I can overlay onto the CF wrap.

Got both pass side doors broken down. Went at them yesterday with a wire wheel grinding out the seam sealer to get to the rust that I knew needed fixing. Over all there not to bad a little patch work and they will be good as new, taking the day off Friday to break down the drivers side doors at the body shop they are already down there, bringing the pass side doors with me so we can get working on them .

Ed,
Now is the time to catch those things. I also scraped out the seam sealer to treat any surface rust lurking underneath. Then resealed the seams It's a pain in the *ss, but it's something that you'll never have to contend with again. Also underneath the door hinges. These areas were never painted at he factory.
Keep it coming man. 🙂
I love the gauge panel. That looks great. I was planning on doing mine in carbon fiber, but my bezel is a little more involved. More nooks and crannies.

Where did you find that exhaust system? I searched your thread, but I did not find any references.

Thanks Jack, hoping the drivers side doors are in better condition but Ill settle for the same as long as they are not worse.

The exhaust is an ATR 3" single shot with a pitbull muffler. Its all 304 stainless made by ATR the company is no longer around. You may be able to find a nice used one on a turbobuick forum or you can look into the system that RJC racing sells its pretty close to the ATR. I refinished the exhaust when I restored the chassis, its about 9 years old cleaned right up like new!

Ed,
Like Jack said, make sure you get the seam sealer reinstalled everywhere it was from the factory. Especially with a white car, it will come back fast, I know from experience  Maybe make your self a trough, and put some of that rust dissolve in there a dip the bottom of the doors in it for day, that would get rid of it for sure.

I am really curious as to how the pitbull mufflers sound like on the turbo 6. I have 3" SS Magnaflows, and they are pretty quite. There were loud as sh*t on a 6.0 LS Chevy truck. :?:

I will be sure to reapply the seam sealer everywhere. Already thought about the ruse desolver I have it on my agenda to look into tomorrow. As well as a sealer for the insides of the doors so the water finds the drain holes and nothing else.

Heres what it sounds like, not the best video but the only one I have. 15lb launch off the foot & ebrake, old school style!
