Moved the chassis and the rest of the body parts to the body shop. We are going to box the frame (last minute decision on my part) add the wagon body pushing perch and hole for the wagon mounts to the sedan chassis then we will put the body back on hopefully this weekend or next. My garage is now empty, sold my GN a few weeks back to buy a bigger house time to start packing everything up to move.

Good luck with the move! Hopefully you can get the wagon sorted out though all the mayhem. 😀

Bummer to see the GN go, but it looks like it is going to a good home...

Can't wait to start seeing the wagon come together and good luck on the move!

Good luck with the move, Ed.
That must have been rough seeing the GN being towed away...but I'm sure your new home took precedent over the car.

Thanks guys it was gut wrenching, I just kept telling myself its just a car. It was just difficult to see it go it would have been 15 years in May that I had owned it and rebuilt the car front to back starting at the age of 19. I fell in love GN's at the age of 4 my dad recalls me saying ooo every time I saw one. My parents had my little sister in 86 and 3 kids in the back of a Camaro just was not working so they were looking at cars. I was 7 years old in 1987 when my father and I test drove a GN off the show room floor. I'll never forget the sales man telling him not to floor it as we were sitting at a light and the look my dad gave me before the light turned green. We left that light like a bat out of hell, I was pined to the back seat and with the salesman was in the pass seat doing allot of yelling! My mom went back with him later that day to drive the GN with my dad but was scared of it and would not buy the GN (keep in mind she had a v8 Camaro) my dad tried to trick her into a T-Type  but that didn't work they ended up coming home with a normally aspirated v6 Regal limited and I was super bummed I thought for sure they would get a GN.

I told my dad then when I was able to I was going to buy one, at 19 I finally got that chance. It was fun for 14 years but the family takes precedence over the cars these days. I will still have the wagon to finish and enjoy and who knows at some point I may sell it and pick up another turbo regal but for now I will push on to finish the wagon and get the new house in order. We outgrew our starter home which we bought to renovate and flip unfortunately it was finished at the time the market crashed. With the goal of expanding the family it was impossible where we were without adding an addition as I only have 2 bedrooms after allot of thought we decided to relocate to the other side of town into a much newer home in a quiet neighbor hood better for raising my kids then off the busy road I am on now. After I knew we got the house, I listed the car for sale on my club website and responded to one want add on TB.com someone that saw the post in the want add and contacted me, sent me a deposit that day via paypal and picked it up a week later. I never expected it to happen that fast. We took a final ride in it with my daughter that weekend, she misses it to I had hoped to hit some car shows with her in the GN this summer but instead hopefully I'll have the wagon back at the house and she can help me work on it. She loves to help me, gotta start them young as long as shes interested I will teach her anything I can.

In the end my GN went to a great home, the new owner is constantly sending me pictures, etc.. He is having fun with it and taking good care of it that's pretty much all you can ask for.

Great story. It seems the longer something is in your possession , the harder it is to part with. However, It's good to hear that the car went to a good home and someone that's going to appreciate it.
It sold that fast, huh?

Man, Dude, that is one clean GN! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

How long did you work on the car to get it to the finished product? Nice job in any case. What size rubber is on the rear? ...

   😱

Thanks, I did the work in phases over the years. I decided to put the car back to a showy version of stock and finish it the way I wanted so pulled the front clip off and did all the work in the engine bay and chassis after the wagons body went to the body shop. That took me about a year and a half to complete. Lots of tedious time consuming work went into it, at the time I had no intentions on ever selling the car.
