Well I tried velcro and carpet tape with no success. Then I used GE Crystal Clear MAX3500 Window & Door siliconized acrylic caulk(an excellent adhesive) and its worked great so far. I put three lines on the back of the mirror and weighted it down overnight to allow it to set. It hasn't affected the mirrow. I kept the silicone about 1/2" away from the edges of the mirror.
