Has anyone ever used a set of these? Wondering how they would compare to a set of something like the Accel yellow sets with the orange boots?

I never had much luck with aftermarket wires. I just use AC Delco tailored wires now .

I've used the Accel 8.8 wire. I wasn't too impressed with them. I later switched to the Taylor 8mm wires, I like 'em much better.

I've never had issues with any wires... The last set I bought was a cheap aftermarket set and I noticed zero difference from the Accel's I had on before. And when I say cheap, I mean $12 for the set....

That is because the the Accels were the same quality as 12 dollar ones

I used to use Mallory Sidewinder wires years back when they were under Mr. Gasket. But that was when everyones quality started to slip. Not sure how they are under Holley.

I had gotten a set of the yellow Accels mainly because they had a boot more heat resistant (for headers) than stock wires. Also yellow would stand out against everything else, emissions equipment/hoses, as well as the engine itself, which is black.

These are for a small block Oldsmobile. I've seen a few pictures of people who used Accels, and they looked pretty sloppy. Was thinking the Moroso ones would be a little neater in fit. I looked at Taylor wires as well, but don't recall seeing any for Oldsmobiles, just Chevy and make-your-own.

Also I'm seeing sets listed for Oldsmobile and Buick V8's. Doesn't quite make sense to me, would think beyond HEI cap boots, lengths would be totally different (front distributor vs rear, etc).

I really don't like Accel stuff, I used an Accel coil on my Suburban and the first one was dead out of the box and the second one died within a year.
