Oh! Then here you go....
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000C7QKNW/?tag=gbody-20
RockAuto also has it for $125 plus shipping.
Here's the sender without Evap....

Something to consider is that the TBI tank is baffled. If you are going to run an aftermarket fuel gauge, you want a baffled tank. Otherwise, the gauge needle will bounce around. Here's the empty TBI tank....

yeah im not sure if i should get no evap and vented gas cap or with evap open and no vented gas cap
No evap and a vented cap seems cleaner. Some guys who have eliminated the charcoal canister but still have the vent line to deal with use a breather filter and mount it over the rear axle at the existing junction between the hard lines to prevent the fuel vapor smell.

someone with an 85 monte stopped in my shop the other day to ask about the car and if I wanted to sell it... obviously I said no but a small part of me feels like it will never get done, even though im just waiting on the heads currently. the motor should be together soon after they are received and then some other small stuff to do on the car, inclduing fuel tank and interior items

I also need a steering shaft... the more stuff on my list the more discouraging it is...

Hang in there I have a good stock shaft if you are interested. Also, you can buy a brand new Jeep shaft for around $100.

how much easier is it to do the shaft while there is no motor in the car ?

on an update note:

I ordered new tank and sender, so I will put that in , run the new fuel line, new fuel pump etc;

not going to make the gauge cluster till i get the car running.
