My 83 Monte Carlo SS carb LS build

Anything can be accomplished given some patience and time....that's not a bad looking shadow box.
For a little inspiration, this is the setup i made for my cutlass. I based the gauge layout of the rally cluster, and used 3-3/8" speedo and tach, and 2-1/16" for the rest of the gauges. I used the factory cluster outline, made a template out of cardboard, then transferred it to aluminum, drilled the holes and wired so that i can easily unplug if it needs to be removed.
The first couple pics are when i made it years ago, then covered it in carbon fiber last year to spruce it up. I feel it looks clean, and once installed it fits just like oem.

because it was 38 or 35 before... its possible it well be 15-20 soon lol so I do what I can when I can !

-need to get the mounts back in tomorrow (real PITA how they go thru the frame)
-waiting for the heads
-need to drop tank and run new fuel line (prob when I'm doing the engine)

got my shadow box in the mail today and I ordered an ignition lock cylinder since it was shipping one thing to me anyway.

When you get the heads you'll get your motivation going again. Can you use the shop at your work at all?
