Not that you asked for opinions, but I have never liked the euro/Camaro mirrors they used after 85...I much prefer the traditional sport mirror.

I wish I had your drive to get er done!

I had the door blocked out and put on more filler in spots. I cleaned up the mess and decided to hang the door on the striker and partially install one bolt. I heard the latch click so I let go. The rear of the door fell which caused the whole door to drop. It landed on my toes. Don't know how my left finger got smashed in the mayhem. It shot blood out from under the nail. My big toe felt cold and I thought I may have severed it. Luckily it's still there and I can kinda bend it. Lol. In the aftermath, I received a black fingernail and a big toe nail with major swelling. The door did not make it either. The bottom corner is folded in and it bent it where it landed on my left foot. There are cats in my neighborhood and don't want them spraying my interior. That's the reason for half *ss hanging it. I may be limping tomorrow but I'm going to finish that door. I will be wearing my steel toe boots when I re hang it.

I'm the opposite. I like the aero mirrors better on all G bodys

Damn! Sorry to hear about the rough end to a great day. You've been hard at it all day. I was at work, and you were working on it.

I'm wobbling around but staying hooked up. Wanting to Z Chrome the door today. The fender is in nice shape but wiped the very top that meets the hood. These are usually wavy here and dinged from being leaned over working under the hood. Think I've decided to leave the stock mirrors and header to save time

I did not get as much done yesterday as I hoped. Alleve was not cutting it constantly standing on my smashed toe. I quit early and decided to continue today (Sunday) but it's getting ready to rain. Just my luck. I guess it is that time of year though.

Been there, done that on the toe...1990, changing out pins and bushings on my 79 Malibu. Was afraid to take my sock off, was sure I was going to find a piece of big toe in it. Eventually the whole nail came off, but the toe was intact...hurt like hell, but all there.

Hope you feel better soon.

Now it's a case of the might as wells. The rear main or oil pan is leaking bad. Been having to put a quart in every couple weeks. With the front clip off I may go ahead and pull engine. Easy access. I may throw the engine in my Salon and put my cammed engine in the El Camino. Hell, while it's out I may as well clean and paint the frame front section. Oh, and might as well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I got the door Z Chromed and it's looking good but then a weird thing happened. The guy that was eyeballing it at the machine shop calls me wanting it. Told him I had it partially disassembled and he said he didn't care. Hell, I think I might cut it loose. I like the Camino but it's at the very bottom of my like list. A friend of mine has a 68 firebird factory 4 speed car with a 455 that's disassembled with title for $2500. The 455 has all new parts to put it together and machine work is done. Damn projects are driving me nuts
