I think it's a scam because you're paying for the licensing. You can buy repro Yenko badges, and it's a bare bones Camaro. There's no reson it couldn't be built for half their price. "starting at $149,995", PFFFT, for WHAT?

it'll be limited production numbers so they can dictate the price for those who can afford a toy like that. There are rebuilt Yenko clones for about 1/2 that price and original Yenkos for over $200,000 so they end up in the middle...It's not a scam if they are selling you exactly what they tell you you're paying for.

why do think it's a scam?

Not saying it is a scam but has the hallmarks of all the great automotive reproduction scams. High demand, high dollar car, just plop down your expensive retainer and we will get right on building your brand new clone car that we own the rights to the name. Who are the people doing the work? Who is the owner? How many cars has he built? What are the builder's qualifications? Etc.......

Funny you should say that, just last week I was about to slap down the money for a Lamborghini Aventador S and asked them those same questions, they didn't have the answers so I cancelled the sales agreement...😎

Maybe I am out of the loop, but why does it have Pontiac Ralley II's?

I thought someone made a copo firebird there for a second.

My bad, I guess I'll find that this company has made production cars since the mid-1900's, met stringent EPA standards, and crash tests. 😎

One reason these cars are coming out is due to a restriction easement for lack of a better word. The government allows companies to reproduce a limited number of specialty cars. We also have a lot of people who make a crazy amount of money. In Tallahassee there is a company that makes Firebirds and have a specialty Burt Reynolds Bandit
