New Guy from Ohio

Just wanted to introduce myself. Last June, I purchased a 79 Cutlass that was in Texas most of it life so it is pretty solid. My first car back in 89 was a 79 Cutlass Supreme Gold/brown with tan vinyl top. Of course I put a set of Crager SS and some gabriel highjackers.
I plan on doing a tribute to my first car but in no way a clone. I have just recently started fitting a 5.3 LS motor with a 4L60E behind it.
I really enjoy restoring any vehicle and have done several in the past 10 years, including an S10 that I built with my son, Crew Cab, stretched frame 18" and put a 6' bed on.

Welcome Buckeye; I now know of 4 blue 78-79 Camaro's, you two guys. My friend up here has a 79 & you may of seen it on Power Tour as he goes nearly every year. And of all the car pictures I have I don't have one of his, yet. I can see I've been lax. Ole' Bob.

I just went through your build on this. Great job, you did it right. The only regrets I have with mine is that I don't drive it as much as I should, and that I didn't put an LS in it.
Looking forward to seeing that GP progress!
