If it sat for any length of time especially from 2004 don’t expect the seals to last
I had a windshield leaking in a mc at the top would drip down on the seat and steering wheel

yeah I'm thinking the windshield is leaking. Floors have little holes through out It, trunk is trash from rust, roof has little pin holes I need to fill. Steering wheel is so stick and nasty it sucks. I actually sat in the driver side seat and leaned back and I broke the seat mount on the seat. It was completely rusted and broke all the way through

Nice to see another dirt track person welcome

thanks!! I need to most all my previous gbodys I've had.

I feel ya sadly. Winter of 2015 I attempted to build one from scratch, so I bought the wagon and although it was quick and handled great for a rookie car builder, it was by far the worst year in racing I've ever had. Four blown motors and ruined the body and bent the frame. In the pic, i was winning the heat race and blew the motor taking the white flag. Last place car decided not to lift once i was at a dead stop and drilled me.

On the SS I found out its a 84. I actually went to go start it again today and after pouring gas in the carb only one time, she ran on her own. Smokes and runs a little rough and running really rich. I had every door open and the fans on and I couldn't stand in there without burning my eyes. Which brings me to my question if i can swap the carb with all this other crap hooked to the q-jet? My racecar is simple, not electronic choke or other wire going lleys. This SS has wires all around the q-jet, and I just want to know if I change it to a holley will it still run. Ill be putting a 1850 holley 600 on it. I run it on my wagon and its ready to go, so if I put it on this SS it should idle and run just fine as long as thing else is wrong
