Dudes a force. That is a crazy amount of work. Sucks that it's taking a bit to get through it but he's making visible progress day to day by himself.

All of the tempered windows showed up, stairs to basement installed and floor cut. French doors in basement installed, interior walls finished. Just a little more to go and it'll be officially closed in. Now if the weather would cooperate.

That's real progress! I assume that more will be happening under those stairs.
Do those doors have internal blinds? I've never seen inserts quite like that before. (I was in the door business off and on for about 15 years)

Yes you are both correct, the French doors have internal blinds. We weren't going to get them, but stumbled across this set at Lowe's on clearance for half price. They aren't carrying this particular model any more hence the discount. Plus I got another 10% off for my military discount, made the decision a no brainer. Also yes, the risers will need to be installed on the stairs to meet code. I'd rather wait until the mechanicals are done though so they don't get beat up by all the boots of the contractors going up and down them.

All of the windows and doors are in! He's got a few things to work on tomorrow. Taking the ramp off the front and build a set of temporary steps. Then he's going to put a furnace in the basement for temp heat so the plumbers and electricians can work. It will also melt the snow off the roof for the roofers that hopefully are coming next week. Then he's onto building the mudroom that connects the house and garage.

Wiring for ceiling speakers and four POE camera's is installed.
