Jack,
I will see what I can do. The car hasn't been uncovered for years so not sure what it might look like. If I get some pics I will be sure to post. We are in York, PA.

I hope it doesn't look too terrible when you finally uncover it. That would be a shame. Yeah, it would be interesting to see pics of it, never the less.
I've driven thru York, Pa many years ago. I used to attend Porsche swapmeets at Ski Roundtop.

Good luck with your '83 Wagon. Keep us up to date on your progress.

Jack 🙂

...A question, I am having problems getting anyone to accept it as a collector car in terms of insuring it. I mean I know it's not a "classic" but I might have to insure it as a regular car which is significantly more expensive. I talked to Haggerty and Grundy, neither would take it. Any ideas? :wtf:

Try JC Taylor, they handle classic as well as modified vehicles, they are pretty reasonable, easy to work with. They're out of Upper Darby, PA. Maybe they can help you out.

In any event try not to go with a regular insurance company because they're not going to really give you a fair deal, not going to know the true value of the upgrades, and may have more restrictions than a classic / modified insurance company. Also, are you gonig to be driving this everyday? If so it's going to be hard if not impossible to insure it as a classic.

Welcome Projectwagon
You have to talk to JOhn Heckman at Grundy. They will insure modifieds. That is who I have for shop insurance. Tell him the StreetRod Store in West Berlin NJ sent you. I love York PA
I go out there every year for the NSRA Nationals. Anxious for next year they are upping the years that are allowed to enter. Used to be 49 and older I think its gonna be at least 25 years old next year.

Will do I can definitely post some pics just not sure when. I live 10 minutes from Ski Roundtop. Small world right?

Thanks for the tip. I did get a company to work with me out of Reading with a reasonable rate. No it is not going to be my daily driver.

Thanks man. I got a company to work with me just so we could transfer the title, etc. Now I have some time to shop. Not that familiar with Jersey but the guy that will be doing some work on my wagon, his father in law I think works at a rod shop in Jersey, "Old" something? Great news regarding the show accepting "newer" rides.

Thanks again for the help.

Hey guys I uploaded some pics to my gallery. Not sure yet how to put one on my profile or post pics in the forum so I guess if you want to see my ride click on projectwagon and view my pics. Hope you like.

My buddy's father in law used to work at Old Stillwater Garage. Ever heard of it?
