Got it painted and extremely happy with it. The little fan seemed to work well, but it's now black

Personally, since the truck was so clean, I would've left it all white. But, the black looks really nice too. Great job!

Thank you - The truck will remain all white- the only black you will see is the visible portion of the cage, if you lift the hood, or look under the truck. The bed will be covered w/ white aluminum. There was extensive welding on the frame, inside the truck & firewall, and the bed mounting the fuel tank and pump, battery, shut of switch, and an on board compressor for the shifter & airing the tires in the staging lanes. So being anal it had to be painted.

Been working on odds and ends - been trying to fab the original dash to accept the gauges. Painted some more parts and Installed the CalTrax system w/ sliders and bolted in the nine inch w/ new gear and axles.

Been plugging at the Sonoma and it's been a while since I updated the build. Got the rest of the parts painted, was lucky enough to use the paint booth at Washtenaw College to finish. Got the break lines out of the way while there still a lot of room. Hung the front suspension, getting the springs in wasn't a cake walk even with an inside coil spring compressor. Went with Bell Tech 2 inch drop spindles.

Great workmanship! Lines look so clean. Love this build.

Nice work, looking more like a show truck than a typical drag truck.
