Was really surprised I was able to get the headliner back in. Was able to raise the cab ever so slightly with the cage and got it in without braking it. Also ordered a new carpet which fit good. Looks like all rest of the interior pieces are going to fit around the cage so it should have stock looking interior other than the seats

Washtenaw College is powder coating our front and rear engine plates and it will be time to set the engine and trans in. Dug the engine out and it will be nice to here it make some noise again. With the rear end in, tried sizing it up a good rim and measuring from the Regal rims a 10in rim will fit w/ 5.5 backspace will work and the front will look as shown

Powder coating looks great pic's don't show they look like chrome. Wish they could do the headers but that's ceramic coating and they don't have the oven for it. If your going to Autorama this weekend check out Washtenaw College's display.

Nice! Do it right, do it once. My advice used to be - keep the shiny side up. But on your S10, since all sides are shiny, use the handy reference on the firewall!

Installed the engine in the truck and wasn't happy with the way the oil pan fit was with the use of the rear engine plate. Decided on a new pan specifically designed for the Sonoma - glad we did , made install easy & more room for the starter and filter. Unpackaged the trans and installed the converter and trans shield, no problems there but unhappy with the spring rate in the front - too stiff. looking to do something about it.

Got the race on in the shop huh? You're in high cotton.

Didn't know what you meant till I looked at the pic's again. Tex - how are you doing? Hope your health problems are behind you and you can concentrate on getting that car back out. It appears you aren't sparing anything to get the car the way you want it.

I'm doing good man. Thanks. I'm greatful to have my health back. It was easily the toughest time in my life but there was no choice and the outcome has been good.

That must be pretty nice having a big TV out in the shop. I used to watch the race every week but a number of things led me to lose interest.

Keep up the great work on that S10. Looking forward to a vid of it screaming down the track.

Quite honestly I don't follow Nascar, It had just got turned on. Love watching Motor Mania TV. They broadcast a lot of the Box - No box races around live stream and you can get previous races. Kinda neat to watch yourself racing. Doesn't seem to be many racers @ G-body
