Reassembled and rolled it out for a bath so I can get it prepped for some fresh blue paint 🙂

First coat of fresh GM blue hit the 4.1 today. I’ve still got to soak the valve covers but I just set them to keep paint out of the heads.

Got the welding gas finally 😁 now to finish setting up the welder and start doing some practicing

Frame went back outside going to start prepping it for paint just ordered the paint for it and picked up a whole bunch of wire wheel attachments for the grinder and drill. Also ordered all new control arms, steering components, rotors, wheel bearings pretty much everything to make the frame a roller once the frame is painted. Also ordered engine and transmission mounts so those can be mounted also. Also found a set of Lear siegler seats covered in leather and suede and I think that is what I will do to my car when the time comes, did a side by side with the original style and I really like the leather and suede look plus it would be easier to get instead of 40 year old Brandon cloth.

No the one on the right is how they all came, the one on the left is a full custom job. Mine will have to be custom so I could do it differently but really like the black outer and gray inner I think it looks awesome

Ooh that looks like it would be fun except standing in the line at Lowe’s right now would suck since they’ve limited how many people go in
