From what I got from my GM buddy, the new style mounts like you have were used on virtually every Chevy model they have. The frame mounts look inthe right spot and the engine mounts look like mine. On my install I had toleave the frame mounts loose and line up the engine then tighten them up once the motor was in and level side to side. Hope this helps!

i bought new 1's from napa but they were for a 84 cutlass with a 305
As long as that is for a 305 chevy motor then your good to go. And they look to be in the right spot. You may have to run the bolts down from the top instead of up through the bottom like you have them. They may interfear with the block mount.

looks like i got the wrong ones. i forgot the motor didnt come out of a truck it came out of a p30 van. looks like montes or 82-92 camaros are the ones i need. will look for some in the morning.

ok bought some mounts from ebay from 87 camaro. got them in today. doesnt seem like much different. i guess i will try them when it cools off.(its like 100 degrees here with 108 heat index) i hope it works. check out the pics and let me know what yall think.

looking at that air cleaner to me it looks to be way too tall for your car unless you are going with a raised hood, that one will definately hit

i would love to have that hood but i dont have any money!

Well vfn has 315$ pin on cowl hoods. You could always go the universal cowl route and just cut a hole in the hood. I'm sure you could find one for 100$, then a few bolts to hold it on and 30$ worth of filler to mold it in, a few cans of primer. 150$ for a scoop.

You could check ebay or craigslist and luck out on a used scoop for cheap. I found one from an old Z28 and bolted it on a jag hood (check my photo album) for 30$.

Or... it might be time to break out the old scrap aluminum or steel and start cutting/molding. Just put a gasket underneath and bolt/rivet it on after it looks like a halfway decent cowl. That could be done for the price of the metal and rubber/weatherstrip underneath
