Short and sweet, Where there's smoke there's fire. If you've got that kind of rust I'd get it up on a lift and thouroly check the frame. If there's rust there cut your losses. Sorry Dude

Have you removed the headliner? You could have ALOT more bad rust inside. That price you got is most likely to reskin the roof. You know the old phrase, IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE etc. Hate to see you putting out that kind of money $2,800.00 is alot, and not end up satisfied.
