Is this in the rear of the head? Stock heads? No, the threads come treated. Best part is, I didn't put in the new one I had, because why use it when the old one is good enough.

That was from its previous life as an abused rental truck motor, its now a high power race motor. Totally different purpose. HahahaAhh, you crazy Canucks had block heaters. Now I'm understanding.
So here was a great part of my f@#$ around today, a real head scratcher.
So when I left for work in September, I left the drivers side of the crossover off and hanging...
When I went to put it back together it has "warped"... Here it is about 1" off fitting. Tightened and squared up on the passenger side.

This one was a head scratcher, and a pain in the butt. I would imagine its going to break somewhat soon but Its on.
New trans dipstick should be here tomorrow, and then the motor gets put back together and wiring gets installed.
Man, it fit awesome when I built it. I didn't think it would warp, this was a eye opener. It's not like I hacked it together with aluminum or something shoddy like that.
I tease. Mostly because I used 3 ratchet straps and a dead blow hammer to put the exhaust back on the TBSS last weekend. 😉
