Huh... I never used the magnet with my alignment gauge. Figured it was meant for steel wheels or some such.

Why am I not surprised there is a market for stock control arms, brakes and spindles.

There was a time...

I'm not gonna lie, I'm learning the alignment process. But setting it on stands to get the camber and toe roughed in makes it a lot easier.

I don't know if they will make any money but someone will take new calipers and brakes, not to mention solid factory arms.

Finished the rear end swap, put the brake master in and I think I have ride height set.

This looks much better. Just need to drill out the holes for the sway bar and it's locked in.

It was shortly after I was standing and feeling good about myself when I fit a wheel on.

The barrel design on the vision wheels bumps out enough that even with a 1/4" spacer it's not gonna happen. Any more spacer and I am rubbing the wheel well lip.

Thinking of going with steels, or maybe 17" as the corvette guys are doing well in the 60 foot with them.

Can you say 'grinder'? And I'm not talking about a hero or submarine.

Well.... that's an option I guess. But the front 15x7 matching rims I bought don't fit over the 6 piston wildwood calipers either and I'm not hacking off a 1/4" off them.

Oddly enough tires are comparable in price between 15 and 17" so that's not a problem. And the rear tires I had were essentially done so I would have been buying fresh ones anyway.

Busy day in the garage today.

Started off testing injectors and putting together my intake and rails. Tested and backflushed the 31lb L92 truck injectors, they were good.

Tried my Snake eater 160s and they did not do well.... Had to backflush a couple just to get them to fire, most would not fire with more than 45psi of fluid pressure on them and a few leaked.... Very odd with only maybe an hour of run time on them.... 64nailhead I may not be a supporter of them anymore, but I will give them the chance to test and correct this first.

So I ran the Bosch 210s through and they are a winner. Pretty much a firehose compared to the other sets I ran.... WOW. lol

had one thats a bit under flow of the other 7 so its in #3 and we will add 5% to it with the dominator.

Intake is all put together. Ready to go in.

I removed the sheet metal AC delete panel from the previous owner and put my aluminum panel from Mikes Montes, a much nicer piece!. I mocked up the sensor block, fuel line and put the harness in so it will all fit with the trans dipstick tube. Now everyone gets along and I can finish up the fuel lines.

Sold the old suspension from the Cutlass today too. just need to move 2 sets of rims and tires, and I will have all kinds of room to play with in the new garage.

I thought you were doing away with the 2 sets of injector setup?
