Time to cut that tab off and glue it on in the right spot. You LS guys are spoiled, I’ve had to modify sh*t like that on nearly everything for my BBO 455.
The tab is minor. I'm going to P clamp it to the head.

I have a single injector low ram base on the way. F(*^ this 16 injector BULLS@&*. I'm done...

Did someone say something about heavily discounted parts?!

I wasn't kidding about bending the dipstick tube. If you bend it then you can get it out from behind the head and have it between the motor and the passenger side fender. My son's is between the head and the firewall and that thing is a pain in the c*ck to get in, get out, and work around. I attached his with a p-clamp to the one of the holes on the rear of the head. Mine, bent as I described, doesn't interfere with anything.

Keep the faith.

I'll probably still have to bend it, however this will solve 2 or 3 other problems down the road. I had a potential injector problem that I want to avoid later.

Progress is happening!

Stripping goodies off the Regal and beginning the reallocation to the cutlass of DOOM.

Badass hybrid coil front suspension. Why yes thank you!

Got the passenger side A arms on and roughed in the alignment.

I just got camber roughed in, and kinda got caster ballpark. Car isn't level and at ride height totally so I'll have to fine adjust. But so far I'm happy.

Put the wheel back on and I think it's a win. See a little 6 piston sexiness through the slots.

Huh... I never used the magnet with my alignment gauge. Figured it was meant for steel wheels or some such.

Quick update for sunday.

Drivers side front suspension is in.

Need to swap the Proforged steering parts, UMI GP brace and swaybar then on to the rear.

Out with the stock goodies. Up they go for sale.

Why am I not surprised there is a market for stock control arms, brakes and spindles.

There was a time...
