That feeling, when you realize you replaced a head gasket because you didn't check to see if the frost plug was sealed properly.

Isn't there a washer that goes on that - no sealant needed?

And I know the feeling - I pulled the motor twice to change rear main to find out it was the intake gasket leaking oil (oops)

No, the threads come treated. Best part is, I didn't put in the new one I had, because why use it when the old one is good enough.
