Busy day in the garage today.

Started off testing injectors and putting together my intake and rails. Tested and backflushed the 31lb L92 truck injectors, they were good.

Tried my Snake eater 160s and they did not do well.... Had to backflush a couple just to get them to fire, most would not fire with more than 45psi of fluid pressure on them and a few leaked.... Very odd with only maybe an hour of run time on them.... 64nailhead I may not be a supporter of them anymore, but I will give them the chance to test and correct this first.

They came out of the motor that bent a rod, correct?

Small update, I have been busy with work and life but I have been knocking things off the list.

First the 9" tru-trac third member is getting the 4.33 gears the car came with replaced with a set of 3.50 gears at the local trans shop. Sticking with the Tru-trac as its a 31 spline and when I have to upgrade to 35 spline I will spool it then. Thats my plan anyway, I will need a stronger third member the and it'll be easy to get everything from one place.

Second, I think I have figured out the wheel situation I created when I swapped rears to my Quick performance housing.

I have a wheel simulator to get a good idea of what will fit and I have been trying different things to what kind of backspace and tire widths I can get away with.
Rears will just fit 15" rims, just. I had 15" rims with spacers on this rear before so I know It is possible.

The Problem with LS F-Body brakes is the caliper is actually farther out than the wheel mount surface.

I had even ground down the caliper to try and get the Vision 521 rims to fit, here is a comparison to unground to ground down for clearance. These calipers are way past the wheel mount surface before I ground them down. I didn't get very agressive yet.

The fronts are not nearly as bad for fitment. Calipers are behind the wheel mount and shaped better. Pretty good for 6 pistons.

17x8" rims are an easy fit on the front.

After some communication with Weld, 4 of these are on the way. 17x8 up front and 15x8" for the rear.

First 2 of the 4 showed up late yesterday. Had a chance to mock up today. I am SUPER impressed with these rims. Might have to run my 0.200" shims up front to clear the wildwood spindle caps but I can deal with it.
