👌 what are going to run for shoes on those beauties

Whoa there, I haven't obsessed over that detail for 2 weeks yet.... probably something 255 wide and 27' or so tall... ballpark.

S71's automatically add +3 cool points to ANYTHING.
These are Weld Performance Venturas. All the S71 look at a cast and forged price. They were damn near the price of the Weld copies I bought.

So s71 = forged
Ventura = cast?

Yeah price wise they aren't any worse than the normal cast anything else wheel!

They look like forged from cast. I'll post some more pics. They aren't forged billet, I'm guessing that's the price difference is. But they are damn nice.

Rears. Absolutely. Mickey T, DOT radials is my plan.

Fronts.... Nittos or maybe Toyo Proxies. Not sure exactly yet. I want to size to somewhat level the car, with slight rake forward. It had 25" skinnies and that's too short, need to sort that out.

Visually the perfect front tire diameter for a lowered G-body is 25.7". That's the target you are aiming for. Matches those taller rear meats perfectly. 😉

So I like the wheels and wanted to learn for my own selfish reasons. Actually kinda confusing.

Summit has "Weld Racing" and "Weld Performance" brands listed. They are the same Weld parent company, just different manufacturing process for the wheel and a different filter.

Racing RT-S is the more modern 3 piece forged $700+ like the S71
Racing DFS is he classic 2 piece forged $350 wheel like the prostar and rodlite
Performance is the rotoforged $300 ish wheel that looks more modern like the RT-S but at a more friendly price.

From what I can tell RT-S is more RACE and sorta street, but RF (rotoforged) Performance line is STREET with some race.

As far as the RF line, they only offer the 15x10 in knurled bead and don't offer it non-knurled. They don't offer anything in the 5, 7, or 8" width knurled.

Here are some more rim pics. For the inquiring minds.

Went to the local swap meet today with the OG Rktpwrd, then I unloaded some spare parts on him.

After he left I decided to do some brake stuff and found some more land mines I made for myself. I remember why I made my own brake lines when I was building the Regal.
Time to break out the flaring tools....

The stock caliper has 3 sized fittings, the wilwood is only 3/8-24 flared attachments.
