Thanks for the kind thoughts. I was looking for road test results, and found this: https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2...eadly-sin-8-1984-pontiac-bonneville-brougham/ a proper lambasting of these cars- pretty funny. The donor Firebird was touted as a 15.70 1/4, the Bonne is 11lbs lighter with far less aerodynamicies, so I'm a lot further off ET than I expected. BUT, in the end, it's still different and consistent. It would definitely be something with forced induction.

Did GM ever put a supercharger on a RWD 3800?
In Australia, it happens. The trick is bringing the rear inlet forward to mount the throttle body. Holdens have them, but are apparently very popular.

They're 3.42s out back, still open, no posi.
Are you getting much wheel spin? How is the compression and tune on the 3800? I agree, especially with the 4L60E's first gear it should be a second faster in the 1/4, close to that 15.7 number. You have a better than stock intake and exhaust too, correct?

No, it doesn't spin at all on 245s. I was only doing a burnout because the kid at the water box insisted on having a 1/2 inch of standing water in there.
It's listed as 9.4:1, and I sent the computer to ZZ Performance for their stage 1 tune, whatever that is. No speed governor, upped trans line pressure and shift points, and a too rich AFR is all I can tell after 75,000 miles. Add 91,5 to that, and there's 166k hard miles plus a dingleberry hone on the bores. It's pretty loose.
The intake is a section of 3" PVC, a 4.3 S-10 airbox, Carquest red filter, and corrugated GM elbows. Exhaust is the factory y-pipe, 3" Jones racing bullet muffler, down to 2.5" Borla Pro XS, and tailpipe.

Really no wheel spin? Yeah, your 2.5+ 60 ft is a problem. I had 2.6 to 2.8 60 ft on stupid 245/60R14 tires behind my 403. Borrow your slicks off your 67, maybe there is some. With a 3.42 open I managed a best of 2.0 60 ft with MT ET Street Bias 26-10.5-15 tires with a 9.5 ti 1 too small cam Olds 350 running 9.4 in the 1/8 with more in it. That should put you at factory 80's H/O or 442 1/4 mile times just improving your 60 ft. It just should be faster, kind of like the 403 I had in my car.
