that pic actually looks like a cut and paste job..... looking forward to see what you do with it!
 
What are you going to do with the center gauge cluster from the original gauges?
 
Haven't decided yet.... It's kinda square, so no widescreen. I was leaning towards maybe a center cannel speaker?
You could glass up the gaps and delete the pods, and recover the front with wood grain patterned vinyl. Should give a decent factory appearance.
 
This was not without its problems. After I installed the heater control, I noticed that the vent selector wouldn't move out of defrost. It turns out that the little plastic retainer had let go, and was hitting the arm.

I fixed it by putting a little piece of vacuum hose and Stinger screw in to hold the valving to the manifold.

If you need to, those valves can be got for about $6 at a parts store. I had to change mine when it started leaking vacuum.
 
Cardboard cutout of dash face plate mock everything up on it and transfer it to the real one.

Close up two of the small factory gauges holes and install a wideband in one and keep the second open just in case.

Going to look awesome!!
