Sorry to hear that. Someone can reap the benefit of all your hard work.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

A round here 3800 engines go for 200-500 bucks. So 400 bucks + gaskets and fluids. Please don't give up yet. Maybe we all can chip in and help. I for one have enjoyed this and learned a few things. So thank you!

Meh, I'm just not in love with it anymore. My original plan was a small block Olds with a bolt on EFI and 200r4. I think I should have stuck to it.

I appreciate all the support; I truly do! I too, learned a lot, and it kept me busy for a minute (or year).

You'll break a lot of hearts here if you sell it. I'm in for a donation.

Best - Gary

For those of us who aren't versed on GM's rear drive V6s, what years and models are candidates?

TURNA said it best "
V6 Camaro/Firebird engines are always beat to pOOp

Ding dongs zooming around thinking they are hot stuff with a Flowmaster"
That's a fact, Jack. My Jersey buddy (the ZR1) always told me about the Italian Retards Out Cruisin'.....
The Series 2 blocks are the same- FWD or RWD. It just ain't my bag for a DD; if it were a turbo'ed weekend brawler with gears, you'd surprise quite a few MF'ers at the stoplight! Of course, the 225's with a pegleg ain't gonna cut it. IROCs had 245/50s on the same size rim...😉

Well, hell, then, son. If the General's FWD 6s are fair game, there's gotta be ma and pa grocery-getters littering bone yards all over the country that haven't been beat on. But let me show my ignorance once again. When did GM introduce the Series 2 block and when did they stop producing them? What car and truck lines carried them? Or just point me to the Series-2-block forum, if there is one and it has any serious information content.

People wreck these things all the time and they don't seem to care how many miles are on the odometer. ;-)

Cheers - Gary
