I can't see a difference between the two pics. Was the compressor hitting the frame or control arm?
Yeah, it wore a groove in the control arm (Probably when I power braked it). I was able to get a deburring bit in there to open it up.
 
Wow that sucks but these engines are junk especially when not taken care of.

When I seen that sludge in the engine, well that was not a good sign.

I hope you do fix it .

The work you did with the wiring is amazing!!

A bottom end build and an ebay chinese turbo would sure be sweet!!

Nice follow-up to an unfortunate prediction.
 
You can't give up now. Those engines are a dime a dozen and the concept is still cool. I would give you a hand myself if I was a little closer.
