Thanks, guys! On the way home from work today, the oil pressure was a little higher than normal. Then, I noticed that the noise in the engine was greatly reduced and it's running much smoother. Must have been a stuck valve or something. It's banging all six now; I guess I was running on 5-1/2 before!

Funny you mention that.... I had the cruise set around 81, and this "kid" pulls up next to me in a C63 Benzo with a WRX follwing him. He goosed it around the car in the middle lane, I stuffed my foot in the Pig's @$$, and off we went. I was by no means going to catch him, but he wasn't leaving quickly (probably got out of it). Cranked her up to about 115 or 120 for about a half mile; it got the adrenaline kickin' a bit. Kind of surprised the Subie didn't come around me- I'm sure he could have.... I was really wanting the hairdryers after that

Took it to cars and coffee this morning, and not that I spent much time around the car, but it didn't seem to attract much attention. I did meet another crew cab, G enthusiast by the name of Greg; he had a sleeper, turbo Tercel that was cool. He showed me a pic of a brown Malibu on gold GTA wheels that's destined for turbo small block glory. Claims to be a member here...
I had a moment of reckoning today. It occrred to me that I have spacers under the rear coils. Against my better judgement from past experience, I think I'm going to whack a half coil out of the front and pull the spacers out of the back.
