Well, that worked out perfectly.
The AC was working when we first charged it, but it was cool and I didn't use it for 3 weeks. When I turned it back on, it was blowing 65 to 70° which means something wasn't right, hence the high pressure port access necessity. Today, I took a halfer from work, so I could scoot over to my buddy's shop for diagnosis. We hooked up the Snap On Koolkare to see what was up. High side could only muster 125psi while the low side was around 30. He put it into reclaim mode and pulled a whole .42lbs out where it should have been about 1.5 (24oz. to be exact). Vacuum test was next; sucked it down for 20 minutes and it held 30in. for 15. WTH, charge it up and see what happens. 55° is what happened. Perfect. Fingers crossed to see if it holds; there's dye in it to spot a leak should one occur.
