Leaving Friday to go pick up the Monte. Borrowed a car trailer from a buddy. The MiL found the keys and matched the title. So a bit happier. One of the guys helping her offered to stick in a battery and some fuel and try to start it. I'd like to do it by hand first and make sure nothing is sticking or broken internally. I'll try to post photos this weekend. It hasn't seen the light of day in probably 13-14 years (last titled in 2003 with 21K). Being buried and surrounded by crap, not sure what I am getting into. But for gas money and two 18 hour drive days, not a huge loss up front.

Nice find! An '83 with T tops is the same car in my avatar. Looks like the one you found has plenty of potential. I'm interested to see how it looks once you get it out of the garage and cleaned up.

Is it a V8 car?

Yes, its a 305,4bbl car. Gonna get it running, drive it a bit and then let my daughter drive it for a year for school then figure out what mods I want to do from there.

can't wait to see this one cleaned up!

Nice find. Other than precautions getting it started after sitting so long, I'd remove the entire interior including the dash.
Everything should be removed and the interior structure bleach cleaned. You will find evidence of mice everywhere.

Car is not in great shape. Blown motor, threw a rod. body has dents all over the place. Pretty disappointed.
