so someone blew the motor at 27301. its been sitting since 1993. Fair amount of hale damage we couldn't see in a dark garage. Needs motor, exhaust, body work, paint, probably upholstery, weatherstrip kit, and full going over mechanically. It was free minus gas and two 18 hour days of driving. Trying to decide if its worth a bigger restoration project. Wasnt what I was looking for. I may Craigslist it and see what happens or decide to go for the save. Spend 8K or make ???.

But it's not rotted? I say drop a stock used 350 in it and make it drivable

Hail damage is nothing compared to rust... Drop a cheap V8 in it and drive it for a daily driver at least.

That says it all. If the frame, floor boards and trunk are rust free, then I'm interested. Finding these with good frames is almost impossible around here. Where are you located and PM me if you want to unload.

FWIW - hail, smail - I could give a rat's behind if there is no rust repair needed.

I'd say dump in another engine and go, even with some dents it's hard to find a clean one. Build it.

Here are some pictures of the car cleaned up on the outside. Need to start on the inside. Thinking that the title says 27301 but maybe a rollover. Its got some wear on it. Definitely a good starter car. Only minor surface rust but dang the hail damage adds to the cost. Was originally going to have my daughter drive it a year or two. In an enclosed barn, couldnt see all that you can in the daylight.
