please help need a dead vin

im not perfect,but in this day and age need a car,my state i need a sr-22 and with that need a car we have a 2016 gmc truck but my insurance to much looking for a dead vin i can give insurance company thanks guys and yes getting another monte ss 87 only

I'm failing to understand what you are asking for, perhaps its because I've never been in this situation. But Isn't that illegal to give the insurance company the VIN to a vehicle you don't own?
