Here are some good resources for anyone wanting to rebuild their own TH350.

I bought the book: GM Turbo 350 Transmissions: How to Rebuild & Modify by Cliff Ruggles. I bought the digital version from Google Play Books but you can get a physical copy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1613251890/?tag=gbody-20

Here are a couple online:

This 7 video series on youtube is really good:

There's more info out there if you look. Hopefully that'll get you pointed in the right direction

I got the transmission put back together last night. I won't get to put it back in the car till tomorrow because we're closing on our house tonight. Hopefully this thing works after all of this. I'll try to make a video when I get it back in the car.

I did take a few pics when I was wrapping up.

This is right before I put the pan on. Everything is so clean.

Then finally putting the pan back on and the new mount.

Update time. I figured I'd make a video since I've been aggravating Donovan and others to make them. I'll post a pic and then let the video cover the rest. Sorry for the extra noises in the video. I'll try to get a better camera mount so that doesn't happen in the future.

I got the torque converter filled with transmission fluid and on the transmission. You know what happens next. Lol. I got it installed yesterday evening.

And now my first video on the forum. It's not professional quality but I hope you guys enjoy anyways. This is for you Donovan & Scott.

Nice, looks like she works good.

Thanks. It sure does work! Lol. I was so happy. It took a lot of time after work staying up late, cleaning components and double checking everything to make sure I only had to do this once. I was so happy that when I got it back in the car, all I had to do was fill it with fluid and drive it. I definitely got a feeling of accomplishment. So many people who work on cars and will tackle anything on the car avoid automatic transmissions. I was tired of being that guy. Lol. I knew if I took my time, followed the book and used common sense I could handle it.

I haven't been able to drive the car for months and it felt so good to take it for a ride last night. I'm so glad to have it back on the road.

Damn Opie!

You weren't playin' playa! Big news indeed!
Lol
Seriously tho, a sincere round of congratulations for ya. Successfully rebuilt transmission, your G body back on the road, a brand spanking new place for ya AND with a triple car garage to boot! Like Jared said, I'm envious!

Love the huge back yard, the free sand blaster was a nice bonus, and I was very happy to see you have heat and insulation in there for comfortable wrenching come wintertime. Success all around!

Congrats again my friend, really happy for ya. :)

As far as the ride along was concerned, car sounds pretty good... for a V6...
Hahaha

But it looks like someone DEFINITELY needs a console shifter!
;)

Oh, and the video weren't too bad neither! Thanks for that!

D.
