Th initial cost is more but in the long run you end up saving money.I didnt even realize they sold them in the 6 pack cans. Definitely the way to go. I've had one too many quart cans go bad after being opened.
As I said in when I started this thread, I think it’s more economical to buy the 6 pack. It saves the disappointment of finding out the partial quart you stored 3-6 months ago has gone hard just as you go to use it. Then you have to postpone that project until you get more. I also buy the cleaner and etch in gallons to help keep the cost down. I just did some under my car the other day, hair covered, safety glases, half face respirator, long sleeves, and rubber gloves. When I finished I looked in a mirror and saw some dripped and ran down my face and started to dry. Talk about painful. I had to soak my face with dish soap and scrape it with my fingernail. NONE of the regular products I normally would use on hands or arms can be used on your face. The quick dry additive is WELL worth the money, you get to install parts in a few hours, just go by the directions and do the math for how much to use. I’ll never spray it again unless I’m in a downdraft spray booth. Even with good chemical filters in a fullface respirator, this stuff is nasty to spray.Th initial cost is more but in the long run you end up saving money.
I have only ever brushed on POR 15 and I have always been impressed how smooth it would be when cured but even brushing it on I wear a lot of protection because that stuff does not want to come off your skin.I’ll never spray it again unless I’m in a downdraft spray booth. Even with good chemical filters in a fullface respirator, this stuff is nasty to spray.
Nasty things on hands, lotion.....you're on the wrong site 😂😂😂.I have never used it myself, but have had some nasty stuff stuck on my hands that just wouldn't come off no matter what I tried. Best thing I've found is hand lotion or moisturizer. Gets into the skin and breaks the bond between the product and the skin.... Usually works over night
