Well guys, as of today my project is taking a sudden turn of direction and is gonna make it more long term. Now I will be doing more of a pro-touring type car with an LSx and T-56 since I bought an F-body today to drop my engine into so it doesn't have to sit in the garage. I know what numbers it made but now I wanna feel what it will do. The car is 1985 Pontiac Trans Am, 305(carb'd) and factory 5 speed. It needs some cosmetics,(drivers quarter is the worst part). That's enough yapping, here is a few pics:

Like I said, it needs some work, but I'm cool with it. When I make a lil progress on it, I'll prolly start a another thread over in the non g section, until then, tell me what you think.

Yes, do that. It get kinda quiet in there sometimes. Looking at the pics, I anticipate a long, long thread  .

As soon as I make a little bit of progress, I definitely will. Most of this cars problems are purely cosmetic and poor general maintenance, plus its been parked for a couple of years. It actually runs pretty good and the transmission only has about 5k miles on it. It was gone thru not long before he carried a deer around on his hood.

I have some serious misfortune, I have recently lost my job so both of my projects are meeting their demise. I already sold the T/A but only after I fixed most of the cosmetics. I made a little bit of profit on that deal so its not all bad. On the other hand, Fade II Black will be a big loss, as it will be going to car heaven. I will be keeping the front clip, extra nose, stripped and painted frame, 3 tach clusters, floor shifter with brackets, pair of frills, 81-83 taillights, clear/red reverse lights, and a few other misc parts to sale. If there are any interest in any parts, PM me for my cell number. I also have a few Cutlass radiator brackets as well. Just let me know if you need anything. My fresh 327 may also be up for grabs.

When I get back on my feet I will have to stop chasing a t top Cutlass(my unicorn) to build. I will chase a wagon for a lil while if I can find one if my preference, which is a 79 Cutlass Cruiser.

Ah sh*t. Just no way you could pack it all into a tight little bundle and let her sit in a corner until you're back on your feet?
Man I hate seeing a guy do away with his joy due to shitty circumstances, I've done it, regretted it greatly.

Hope you find a way to keep it, at the very least I hope things improve for you, chin up
