BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

I did but that isn't how the Flowmaster system is set up. Here's a pic of it.

Yes, plus less complicated, restrictive, pipe bends.

Took my dad out for a drive. Then I hear a loud clink then an obvious noise of something falling off the car. Then I had no power steering. Luckily I wasn't far from home. Engine got up to 250 so I shut it off and coasted the last 1/2 mile LOL

Can anyone see what's wrong with this pic? LOL

It's purple? If that water pump pulley was still on I wouldn't have an idea if anything was wrong. 😉

Haha, well maybe the color caused the water pump flange to come off the shaft that it's supposed to be pressed onto. LOL All on a brand new pump too. Guessing it must've been made in China

Well I decided to get a pump locally that way if I have any more issues at least I won't have to pay for another one. Unfortunately all of the stores only carry new ones and we can all bet where they come from. Ugh. Well I went with the lifetime warranty one from AutoZone. Time will tell I guess. Had to swing by the junkyard and grab another pulley along with the hardware store for some new fasteners. All buttoned up again. Syracuse Nationals is this coming weekend and I better make it!
