Yes, I was thinking about it, but didn't think I could slip the whole drivetrain in at one time. Another tough lesson to learn. Even if I couldn't put it in all together, I should've tried it together out of the car first.

Just don't use the bread (or grease) in the cavity with a punch trick because LS stuff has a plug in the crank and it will fill the crank oiling passages instead of removing the bearing.
So I've been told, I'll snap a pic tomorrow when I get the bearing out.Great job 👏
Is it true that there is a Plug in end of the crankshaft?
I would say more likely main seal. Check out the pic on my 170k mile 5.3 in my truck in post #1. I replaced the seal and leak fixed.Please do. I have a slight leak. It's either that or main seal.
