BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

You can tune that whistle out to just about nothing with an aftermarket ECU. IIRC Injectedcutty he was running a 102mm TB. Yours is smaller.

Tony1968 what TB are you running? Any noise?

It's a 102 that I bought from Tony Mamo when I bought Fast intake
Probably Chinese crap
It whistles until about 1200 rpms then it just thumps

Is this a cable driven throttle body issue? We used a Holley throttle body (cable driven, 92mm) that fits the Gen IV intake (LS3 in our case) and never had this issue. We're using an offsite (email) tuner though.

Quick update. Been working on the wiring, life has kept me away but I'm still plugging away at it. A few of you that were worried about the oil pressure situation. I had a bright idea. I pulled the oil filter off to see if it had oil in it since it was installed dry. It was completely full so the engine did prime itself. 😁

Made some headway on the wiring tonight. Made a cable from the starter to the inner fender, extended factory wiring to small stud on starter and to stud on inner fender. Makes for a nice junction point, and in case I need to jump start the car from the front, I have a place I can connect to. I need to do the wiring for the alternator, and the engine bay wiring should be done. Then ecm, and get wiring back to the trunk mounted battery.

This Amazon cable crimper works great.
