All wrapped up for today.
The hood got 2 wet coats of epoxy on the entire surface, plus one additional one on each of the repaired areas beforehand:
While the epoxy was still wet and glossy, I had a real good look at my bodywork. I could see absolutely no evidence of it, it’s gonna block out beautifully flat and straight.

After an hour induction period, I mixed up a big batch of the Shopline high build and laid down 3 wet coats.
It’s still a little stripey in these pics, partly because it was still flashing off and partly because this damn primer was starting to catalyze in the gun already. Most of the stripes should be gone by the time it fully dries though.
I gotta say, I’m really not a fan of this Shopline crap, it builds and sands nice, but the working time with it is way too short. I likely won’t have enough of it left over to finish the car with, so I’ll be getting something different next time to finish it off.
More fun will ensue tomorrow now that the bulk of the panel is coated.
