Greetings James & all; I would guess that you seen the pulleys I have for sale? If not please take time to look as they would serve you well. And you automobile, it's lookin' FINE! You'll have many enjoyable days wheelin' it. Take Care, Ole' Bob.
Ps; Consider an Gear Vendors OD unit behind the TH-350, It won't break? Plus it will move the CG back a smitch??

Thank you! It was more so done out of being the cheap, quick fix. and have the material and tools to do it at my shop. Plus I liked the look of the valve covers and once the valve cover was installed you would never even notice the modification and that was what I was going for.

Thanks
James
I completely understand that. I did something similar with my big block aluminum finned valve covers on my 78 El Camino. I wanted to keep the factory ac, but was running comp billet rockers.

So I clearances the valve covers, you never saw it.

I have been still picking away on the Malibu for the last month or so. So far we have put about 100 miles on the new engine with no issues. The last month or so has been fine tuning mostly the carb and timing. Lastly is a final once over of the timing and putting in an adjustable vacuum modulator to adjust the shift points because with the new tc it is shifting to quickly through 1st and 2nd. The sound clip isn't the greatest and I will try to upload a better one shortly.

Thanks
James
