Well it's not an axle coming out. Because on the other side the tire is almost hitting the frame (about 1/2" clearance).

But it's in the alignment shop right now. I'm just waiting for them to call and tell me what's wrong. I just hope it's not to expensive. 😢

why didn't you bring it back to the mech who installed the upgrades in the back end. I'd be careful with the alignment shop since they don't see these metrics too often, if at all, so do they know what to do without spending a whole bunch of your money...did you take a look at the back end before you brought it in?...there isn't much there to check out to see what was bent and that mighta saved you a few $$$ if you knew what was wrong..

Well I just got the call and it's not so bad... but it could have been. So here's a lesson for all you people who wanna put adjustable trailing arms on your car.

What happened was this. My upper trailing arms came loose at the adjustment nut. So it came loose and threw the rear end out of whack.

Now, I read the instructions before I took it to the mechanic. And they clearly said that the arms are set to factory length out of the box. And if they aren't gonna be adjusted they can be bolted in as is out of the box. But obviously this isn't the case. So if any of you get these, make sure they are checked for tightness befor installing them.

when you were driving your car wasn't the back end all over the road?..it had to moving sided to side and probably felt like you were running on 2 flat tires....

plus I'd be going back the mech who installed and ask them why they didn't do a check on each fastener before letting it go out of the shop

No, actually the went totally straight, even with no hands on the wheel. The thing I did kinda notice is that the rear was always kicking out to the passenger side when I was on snow or ice. That's usually normal, but it was kinda doing it more than it should have.

And I tried from both side to push on the rear of the car, There was no side to side movement or any weird noises.

But I'm just happy that the cost was only $42.10. 😀

Glad to hear it wasn't anything to serious. As far as parts replacement goes anyway 😀 .
