Roomate Advice?

ive always had good experiences living with friends.

thats always been going and renting a place with them.

main differences i guess being, you are having somone move into a place you already occupy on your own and you own the house.

I have had 3 roommates in the past, one guy and 2 girls. The girls were fine, but they guy was trouble all the time. I needed the cash, so I put up with it. I am a different person now and am much more assertive with that sort of thing. I won't put up with anyone else's sh*t in my house-even if it means I lose the house.


(BTW, nothing happened between me and the 2 girls. I would not be a 35 year old virgin if it did...)

Doesn't matter though as I have given up. I have yet to meet a woman my age that is worth my time or attractive.

cant give up man, i have seen you eat ramen noodles breakfast lunch and dinner in your thread to get painting done on your car. and go without cell phone service as well. you dont really seem like the 'just give up' type.

on the other hand, when you stop looking, thats when you'll find her too.

Meh, but I do know when it is pointless to try any further. A car is one thing. It is material in nature and does not have the ability to say no. So long as you are persistent, it will eventually get done. It is a matter of logic, planning, time and research. In that way, it is a scientifically determinable outcome once you take the necessary steps to achieve the goal. Women, however do have the ability to say no, and they have said no to me all my life. I have never even been kissed, let alone had a girlfriend, etc. Each rejection hurts, and I am tired of feeling hurt, so I give up. Logic dictates that giving up is the best course of action and the one that is likely to yield the most happiness and allow me to use my resources the most prudently. Giving up means I don't have to dress well, pay for dates, have a nice car, etc. I won't rule out finding someone if they pursue me first, but I will never again initiate. It hurts too much when I do because it ALWAYS ends in failure.

I lived in a house with two other guys, there was always an issue at meal times, friends over, ect...
Who is cooking what, who is eating what, who ate the last of what, who paid for what, where is the box of what, there is no coffee, booze, toothpaste, toilet paper... this is all the stuff you are going to hear.

Work schedule, bathroom schedule, sleep schedule, who is coming over until what time, who is cutting the lawn today, why is my favorite coffee mug broken, who forgot to lock the back door. I always watch that show on this night.. partying until 4 am... wtf?!?! simple things that never bothered me before now did.. where is my razor? why is the cap off the toothpaste.. Did you clean the shower after you Jacked? WTF!!!!

I got out of the shower one day and my roomates girl friend was sitting on the couch.. I was the only one home.. WTF?!!? If she was cute I wouldn't have cared... I know I locked the door...

Moving back in with Mom & Dad is always an option. I did this when I decided to go for my BS. In this way, all of your funds from working can go into tuition and books...
