I'm sure they will take it back

And I'm not calling a vendor
I have no idea who built it. Nor do I care
If I call rock auto they will exchange it. They will not trouble shoot it. I have never had a vendor selling parts tell you to fix it.
All there going to say is send it back. On my dime


My decision to send it back will be based on wether it's worth my time.

I'm not sure what the outcome is with your rock auto is but Before i found my box(Ha!) I was gonna send it to powersteering.com.they overhaul and make a standard ratio box into the quicker ratio.at the time the price was about the same so i bought the gm box but if i ever have another situation with a steering box i'd send it to have it reworked.hopefully this helps.
