I'm stuck in DFW for the next couple hours if you wanna swing over and buy me lunch.
It would be cool to meet up. I don't fly so there's no way I'd get there in time. If you get stuck in Houston, particularly at IAH, give me a hollar.

Don't feel too bad Jared, my Regal went untouched for nearly 3 years after I pulled the V6. You'll get to it. Take it easy and stay cool this summer.
Thanks Joe. What I feel the worst about is the car hasn't run in 4-1/2 years. Still, I'm fortunate to have the luxury of having a project car, and a place to store it and work on it. I just bought the car at the wrong time in my life. I'm also fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend so much time with my Dad and brother helping them with their cars. I wouldn't trade that time with them for anything.

I have to ask. Why don't you buy a house with a big garage or just a garage?
I'm single, and am going to stay single. I live with my brother, sister-in-law and their "kids" for the family lifestyle. I'm in a financial position to go buy a house but then I'm over there by myself. That's just not how I want to live.

What I'd love to pull off is buying what's called a garage condominium. They are a thing here in Texas. There are some near me that are 25'x50', with a 20' ceiling height. They are insulated and air conditioned. They have 220V service and have water and sewer service stubbed out within them. They have a large roll-up door, big enough for an RV and a separate pedestrian door. You buy them instead of rent them. Thus far I've elected to divert money into my 401k instead of take the plunge on the dream shop. The storage is pretty great for what it is, especially anytime from October to April.

That is more what I was thinking. I would put a kitckenet and a couch in there. So if you need a place to crash or hide.

That's the dream, brother.
