Hey Jared,
Sorry to hear that you're considering selling your GP. I could understand where you're coming from, although still sad to hear the news. You had such great plans for the car. After all the work in helping your dad and Sean with their projects and being unable to finish your own project. Sometimes we're faced with certain dilemmas in life. It's too bad you didn't have other storage options. Having your own garage would have been ideal, but unfortunately timing isn't on your side at this time. Good luck and best wishes. Hope you continue to stick around.

Jared, I'm really sorry to hear that you're contemplating selling your GP. I'm sorry that circumstances are conspiring against you. I know that you've owned the car for awhile now, and I know that you were looking forward to finishing it up. I looked forward to your updates, as you were quite thorough and meticulous in your work on the car, as you are with everything that you do. I hope that somehow you get a reprieve, and if not, that you can find a good caretaker for the car.

This is probably really stupid as far as ideas go.... but have you thought about a quonsett style pop up carport and putting your car inside one of those oversized glorified storage bags inside up on the land? Maybe on blocks with no wheels to make it hard to steal?

Wouldn't cost a couple hundred bucks plus renting a uhaul to get it there. Dump it in the middle of the land, and just keep all the spare parts with you and I doubt it'd be messed with.... maybe just pull the engine/trans to be safe, couple hours work?

If you sell this, I’m probably interested. I pm’d you my email address.

But……..if you sell it to me, then I’ll sell it back when it’s done.

With an LS, a turbo, and a cage?
Nope. Not if he has everything to put it together.

I already have one of those.

Unless that’s what he wants, but I don’t think he does. I’d have to take off the my hackery hat.

I'm keeping the cars. Sean, Dad and I moved them to another storage about 30 miles North of here. Roughly halfway to where we will move when we build the new house and shop. It's a compromise. We also moved all the parts and most of the equipment (engine hoist, jack stands, jacks,etc.). The toolboxes and the supplies are still at the old storage. They are coming home. We hoped to do that today but after 10 hours we all were out of gas. I'll post more later. For now, here they are snug in the new home....
